Flights
For those traveling by plane, the closest airport is Dulles International Airport (IAD), 30 minutes from Middleburg. Alternatively, Reagan International Airport (DCA) is close to D.C. and 1 hour from Middleburg. Taxis are available, but we would recommend renting a car if you plan to explore the area over the weekend.

Should you opt for Airbnb, we recommend looking for a location in Middleburg, VA. This is a particularly good option for larger groups (2+) looking to stay together, as there are many small homes available in the area and depending on the booking, you will get the most authentic experience of the Virginia countryside.
TransportATION
Shuttles will be provided to and from the ceremony and reception for all of the hotel options. Should you prefer to drive or rent a car, we will include directions and parking will be available at all weekend events.

Exploring the area

Middleburg
If you are looking for breakfast in town, we recommend Middleburg Common Grounds. King Street Oyster Bar (sit-down) and the Middleburg Deli (take-out) are two easy lunch options, but if you’d prefer a scenic drive, Bistro @ The Porch is about 15 minutes down the road. There are many wineries and breweries in the local area, as well as antique shops.
Sky Meadows State Park
For those looking to enjoy the countryside, Sky Meadows is our favorite local park for hiking, with beautiful views and rolling pastures. Located 20 minutes outside of Middleburg.
Washington, D.C.
Middleburg is located about one hour outside of Washington, D.C. Should you choose to extend your stay by visiting the city, we recommend staying at the Eaton or the Generator. Please reach out to us for restaurant recommendations or things to do in the city!
